Q: What are the hours of operation for Transylvania County Parks and Recreation?
A: The Transylvania Activity Center is open Monday through Friday 8am-10pm and on Saturdays and Sundays 8am-10pm pending rentals.
Q: Does the gymnasium at the Transylvania Activity Center (TAC) have air conditioning?
A: Yes
Q: Is there Wi-Fi at the TAC?
A: Yes - no password required.
Q: Where is the TAC located?
A: The physical address for the TAC is 1078 Ecusta Rd. Brevard, NC 28712 We are located directly behind Pisgah Forest Elementary School.
Q: Can Silvermont mansion be reserved?
A: The Silvermont Mansion 1st Floor is available for limited dates and times to rent. Saturday's and Sunday's only when available throughout the year.
Q: If I want to reserve a facility or location are there fees to do this?
A: Yes and no. The Board of Commissioners approve a fee schedule each year at budget time and this schedule has fees for some of our facilities but some do not. To the left on this website you see a "Parks & Facilities" link. When you use this link you can select the facility you are interested in using and it will tell you if there are fees associated with using it.
